About DL Davis Lawn & Grounds

There are two kinds of lawns around Marengo — village lots you can finish before the coffee cools, and country yards that take a whole morning to walk. DL Davis Lawn & Grounds mows both, keeping the trimming close where the mower cannot follow, around culvert ends and tree rings, and running the edger along a drive until the line is straight enough to sight down. September is the sweet stretch here: cooler air, heavy dew, grass cutting clean instead of tearing. Cleanups take the yards down for winter once the last leaves are off the maples. A lawn finished right sits flat and even, with the clippings off the walk and nothing left to tidy.
