About South Of Saturn Landscaping

Out past Lucas, Pleasant Valley folds down between wooded ridges, and by mid-October the whole bowl of it goes rust and butter-yellow. South Of Saturn Landscaping carries that stretch of the year on properties around Mansfield — mowing and trimming while the grass still asks for it, edging beds and drives, then the long cleanups when the oaks finally give in. After that the valley narrows to black and white, and the work becomes plowing, clearing walks, and treating ice where a slope runs up against a step. Snow sits longer down in the hollows than it does in town, which is its own kind of scheduling problem. By March the first cut is due again and the whole round begins from the top.
