About Roush Lawn Care LLC

A June wind crosses Clear Fork Reservoir and comes up over the Lexington farms smelling like cut hay, which is more or less the smell of the working week. Roush Lawn Care LLC spends it mowing, trimming and edging properties around Mansfield, holding the height right for the heat and clearing the clippings before they can mat down. Richland County ground rolls; hardly a yard here is flat, and a good cut means reading a slope so the lines stay true across it. Then the year turns, the reservoir goes the color of pewter, and the same attention goes into plowing drives, shoveling walkways and treating the shaded pitch at the top of a driveway. Both halves of the calendar come down to the same thing — showing up on the right morning.
