Leasure Landscapes

About Leasure Landscapes

Summer in Madison comes off the water — a cool run of air up the roads from the lake, long evenings, grapes filling out on the wire in the vineyards east of town. Leasure Landscapes keeps the lawns in that breeze, mowing in even passes, trimming out fence lines and tree rings, cleaning the walks until the lines are visible from the street. Grass stays green late here, so the season runs long and the schedule is the backbone of the whole thing. Spring cleanups clear off what winter dragged in, and autumn means leaves — a great many of them, from all those old shade trees — moved and hauled until the lawn can breathe again. A kept yard suits this town, where light off the lake makes green look greener.
