About Kovatch Enterprises LLC

Madison lives under the lake — Erie only a few miles north, throwing cloud bands over the vineyards and the ravines whenever the wind sets right, and burying the town while places inland get an inch. Kovatch Enterprises LLC works that snowbelt, out in the small hours with drives and lots to open before anyone in Lake County goes anywhere. Lake-effect doesn't come once, it comes in waves, so the job is to keep coming back: push, widen, salt the steps and the shaded curve where ice sets in. Knowing where the drift builds along a windbreak, or which lot corner can hold the pile all winter, is what keeps a storm from stacking up on you. Morning after morning, the black pavement showing through all that white is the entire point.
