Sunset Tree Service

About Sunset Tree Service

The Mad River runs cold and quick through its valley, spring-fed the whole way, with willows leaning over the current and level bottomland stretching back from the banks. Sunset Tree Service works that ground and the rises above it — removals where a bottomland tree has undercut its own footing, trimming back what rests on a roofline, pruning to carry a yard tree through the next hard wind. Evening is a good hour along this stretch: the light goes gold across the fields and the day's brush is already chipped and gone. Storm cleanup out here means mud and root plates and a great deal of hauling, and it still ends with a raked lawn. The measure of the job is what the place looks like once the truck pulls out.
