Tender Loving Lawncare

About Tender Loving Lawncare

Loudonville sits where the Mohican comes down through the hills, and all summer the river carries canoes past hemlock banks while the town above it goes about its business. Tender Loving Lawncare keeps the yards on those streets and the ones back along the ridge roads, mowing through the weeks when grass grows faster than anybody can keep up with. The work is unhurried and particular — an even cut, trimmed corners, an edge along the sidewalk that makes the whole lawn look intentional. Come October the Mohican woods let go all at once, and the leaves become the job: raked, blown and hauled until the grass shows again. A yard kept this way holds its own next to all that scenery, which is no small thing in this corner of Ashland County.
