Paradise Landscapes

About Paradise Landscapes

Lordstown is a wide-open piece of the Western Reserve — farm ground and fence lines running out flat, the long roofs of the plant sitting on the horizon, weather you can watch coming for twenty minutes before it arrives. Paradise Landscapes works the lawns under that big sky, where a yard has nothing to hide behind and every line you cut is visible from the road. Mowing here means straight passes and clean turns; trimming means the mailbox post, the light pole, the lip of the drive done sharp. Spring brings the cleanup, winter's brush and grit raked out of the beds, and autumn drops the leaves all at once when the wind swings around. What's left at the end of an afternoon is a green rectangle sitting square in Trumbull County, tidy as a made bed.
