Petermans Tree & Lawn Services

About Petermans Tree & Lawn Services

October in Madison County turns the fencerow maples and the old yard oaks all at once, and then a single windy week takes them down. Petermans Tree & Lawn Services is out under those trees — mowing while it is still growing, gathering and hauling leaves, clearing fallen sticks and brush off the grass. There is a specific satisfaction in a lawn raked clean beneath a big canopy, the turf green again where a foot of leaves had been. Through the growing season it is the regular round: cutting, trimming, edging, keeping a property neat between visits. Around London, where the yards are wide and the shade trees are old, that work never really runs out.
