About Mccalla's Lawn and Garden Service LLC

Late August around London smells like cut grass and dust off the soybean fields, and the old prairie remnants out in the county stand shoulder-high in bluestem. Mccalla's Lawn and Garden Service LLC works the tame side of that: mowing on schedule, trimming close, keeping beds weeded, edged and mulched where they want it. A garden asks for a lighter hand than a lawn, and there is pleasure in doing both well on the same property in a single visit. Fall brings the leaf work and the final cut, everything put to bed ahead of the first hard freeze. It is patient tending, and it changes how a place feels to come home to.
