About The Greenskeeper

First light on a London lawn is all dew and low sun, and you can read every pass of the mower in it. The Greenskeeper treats turf like it has earned that attention — cutting to height on a set schedule, trimming close along the foundation, edging walks and drives to a true line. Grass in this part of the county pushes hard in May and slows through August, and the cut should change along with it. Spring and fall bring the cleanups, the leaves off, the last mow taken down ahead of the cold. A striped lawn on a clear morning west of Columbus is a small thing to be proud of, and it is worth doing again next week.
