About Florence Lawncare

Spring reaches Choctaw Lake before it reaches the fields, water holding the light while the ground is still cold and brown. Florence Lawncare starts its year about then — the first mow, the cleanup of everything winter left behind, the edges recut along drives and walks. Through the season it is steady cutting and trimming, beds kept clear, the grass carried from thin April green into deep June. Yards west of Columbus are wide and open, so a clean line shows all the way from the road, and that is the point. By the time the maples turn, the leaves come up and the season closes the way it opened, tidy.
