About Evans Pro Lawn and Landscape
Fair week in Madison County lands in the hottest stretch of July, when the corn is over your head and the air refuses to move. Evans Pro Lawn and Landscape is out in it — mowing, string-trimming, edging, hauling clippings — while the afternoon builds toward a thunderhead somewhere out over the plains. A lawn cut properly in that heat looks it: even height, sharp lines along the walk, beds tidy at the margins. Come autumn the same properties get their leaves gathered and their last cut, put down neat for the cold. It is plain outdoor work in a farm county, and it makes London look like itself.
