October arrives in Lodi all at once: the Black River bottoms go gold, leaves stack against the fence lines, and the light quits early over the fields west of town. NT Landscaping spends those weeks hauling the year off of lawns — mowing down to the last cut, clearing the beds, leaving the grass short and combed for winter. In July the same yards get the weekly rhythm, mower and trimmer and blower, the driveway swept before the truck pulls away. And when the first real storm slides down out of the north, the snow work starts in the dark: drives opened, walks cut wide enough to carry groceries through, salt where the ice wants to set. It is small, steady care for a small, steady town, and it shows in every doorstep that stays walkable.
