About Appalachian Landscaping and Outdoor Services

Mornings in Lodi Township start with fog low in the hollows and burn off toward the ridges, and by nine the hayfields of southeastern Ohio are steaming in the sun. Appalachian Landscaping and Outdoor Services mows the yards tucked into that country — the ones set on a grade, the ones with a creek at the bottom and a tree line that never stops dropping something. Hill mowing asks for patience and a good line, and the payoff is a lawn that lies smooth against the slope instead of fighting it. Trimming around the porch posts, cleaning the edge where gravel meets grass, hauling off the leaves in the fall: it adds up to a place that looks cared for from the road. In a township of ridges and hollows, that clear stretch of green around the house is a fine thing to come home to.
