About Rooted Escapes, LLC

In November the clouds come off Lake Erie low and fast over Linndale, and the backyards of this little village fill with the last fallen leaves, damp and bright against the grass. Rooted Escapes, LLC works from the idea that a yard, even a city-sized one, can be a getaway: soft grass underfoot, beds that frame the view, a corner that feels apart from the traffic all around. Late fall is for setting that up, with a last few careful mowings, leaves cleared before they smother the turf, and beds tucked in for the cold months. Come spring, the lawn wakes from deep roots. The escape is waiting right outside the back door.
