Ricks mowing and landscaping

About Ricks mowing and landscaping

On a Saturday morning near Lincoln Park, the sound of Lima is mowers — one starting up as another shuts down, all the way along the block of brick houses and old maples. Ricks mowing and landscaping is part of that sound, with mowing, string trimming, edging and landscaping on the beds and borders that give an older street its shape. The details a neighbor notices without naming are the point: a straight line along the walk, a bed edge cut sharp, no clippings left in the street. Yards in a settled neighborhood have their own geometry, and the work follows it instead of fighting it. Lima and Harrod, week in and week out.
