About C&Alawn Care / Landscaping

The ground around Lima is black and deep, drained a century and a half ago out of the old swamp, and it will grow whatever you put in it — weeds very much included. C&Alawn Care / Landscaping works with that soil instead of against it: beds cut fresh in spring, mulch laid in, shrubs shaped back off the siding, and the mowing, trimming and edging that keep the whole picture legible all summer. There's a moment right after a bed gets a new edge and a load of mulch when the entire front of a house reads differently from the curb. Fall brings cleanups and leaf work, and the yard gets put away tidy for the cold. Then the soil rests a few months and the whole thing begins again.
