About All seasons

By the middle of October the maples along Lima's older streets let go all at once, and a lawn that was tidy on Friday is ankle-deep by Sunday. All seasons handles the whole arc of the growing year — the first cut in April when the ground finally firms up, weekly mowing and trimming through the heat, edging that keeps a walk looking like a walk, and the long leaf work that closes it out. Route 30 carries its traffic past all of it, and nobody driving by gives a thought to who keeps the side yards and berms in order. That's fine. The payoff is a clean lot on a cold bright morning with the last of the leaves already hauled away.
