About Murphy’s Property Services, LTD

There is an hour before daylight in Licking Township when the lots are still blank and the only tracks in them belong to the plow. Murphy's Property Services, LTD works that hour, clearing lots and drives, opening sidewalks end to end, laying salt at the doors and on the ramps where the first footsteps will land. Out on the flat ground toward Hebron and Jacksontown the wind keeps rewriting a lot all night, so the last pass matters more than the first. A wet snow followed by a hard drop in temperature can turn a swept surface glassy, and that is what the de-icing is for. Then the cars roll in over bare asphalt and nobody gives it a thought, which is exactly the idea.
