Kirkbride Land and Snow Management

About Kirkbride Land and Snow Management

A clipper comes down across the flat country north of Columbus with no warning to speak of, and by four in the morning Lewis Center is a different place entirely. Kirkbride Land and Snow Management is out in it, plow lights swinging across driveways while the rest of the street sleeps. The work is snow removal and nothing fancier: clearing drives and turnarounds, opening the walk to the door, cutting the ridge the county plow left across the apron. What matters is the hour it gets done — before the coffee, before the drive down 23, before anybody has to decide whether they can get out. A clean black driveway at daybreak is a small thing that makes a whole morning work.
