About Down to Earth Lawn Care

By late September the sycamores along the Olentangy begin letting go, and the afternoon light over Lewis Center turns the color of cider. Down to Earth Lawn Care keeps yards up through that long slide into autumn: mowing while the grass still wants to grow, trimming close to the fence posts, and clearing the leaves before they mat down and smother the turf. The name says the approach plainly enough, and so does the work, which is grass and soil and patience with a rake. A yard raked out clean in October will thank somebody in April. That is the whole reward of it, and it is enough.
