Lawn Control Center

About Lawn Control Center

South of Lewis Center the ground falls away to the shale bluffs above the river, and by August the high, open yards up top are the first to go thirsty. Lawn Control Center reads that in the grass and raises the deck rather than scalping a lawn already working hard. The cut, the trimmer work, the edge at the curb, the blow-off: all of it done the same in heat as in June. Late summer is when the difference between cutting grass and caring for it shows up plainly. Come September a lawn treated right greens back up while its neighbors are still catching their breath.
