About AH LAWN AND LANDSCAPE LLC

At three in the morning the I-75 corridor through Butler County is all sodium light and moving freight, and that is the hour a Lemon township snow route begins. AH LAWN AND LANDSCAPE LLC runs the plow while the township is still dark, pushing lots and driveways back to open pavement and spreading salt where the wind has scoured a slick spot. Snow here rarely announces itself; it arrives on a wind out of Indiana, an inch an hour, and turns to gray slush by noon. The work is to get in front of it — clear the approach, square the corners, treat the walks — so a driver pulling out at six finds nothing to think about. There is a plain pride in that: a drive cleared before dawn, the blade lifting, one more morning that starts on time.
