Spades Lawncare and Landscape

About Spades Lawncare and Landscape

Downtown Lebanon keeps its brick sidewalks and its old storefront line along Broadway, and on a June evening the whole street softens: awnings drop their shade, fireflies come up out of the side lawns, the Golden Lamb's windows go warm. Spades Lawncare and Landscape works the yards behind and around all that, where the grass runs right up to a hundred-year-old walk and an edge has to be cut by hand-eye rather than habit. Mowing, trimming, edging, the beds cleaned out and given a true border, the leaves hauled off when the maples let go in November. Older properties reward that kind of attention; they look composed instead of merely mowed. It is a good town to make things look right in.
