Miller Dirt Worx

About Miller Dirt Worx

February on the township roads outside Lebanon: gravel lanes drifted shut, a quarter mile of driveway between a farmhouse and its mailbox, and no county plow coming up it. Miller Dirt Worx runs exactly that kind of work — long drives and farm lanes opened, lots and turnarounds cleared, walks shoveled, salt laid on the slick spot where the lane meets the road. Warren County snow tends to be heavy and short-lived, which means it packs and glazes if it is left alone for a day. Getting there early, and cutting the lane wide enough that it stays open through the next round, is the difference between one trip and three. The reward is a set of tracks running out to the road before the school bus does.
