Wilson's Landscape Maintenance

About Wilson's Landscape Maintenance

The quietest hour of a Lancaster winter comes after the storm quits: cloud pulling apart, moon on new snow, the whole county gone blue and soundless. Wilson's Landscape Maintenance is usually the only noise in it — a plow on a driveway, a shovel on a walk, salt going down where a night this cold will glaze whatever melted at noon. North of town the fields drift onto the roads out toward Pleasantville and Thurston, so the same drive can want two visits before morning. The measure is never how much snow got moved; it is how easy the morning turned out. Blue night, clear morning — that is the trade.
