Skinner Lawncare

About Skinner Lawncare

In October the hills below Lancaster toward Rockbridge and Clear Creek all turn at once — hickory yellow, oak rust, maple something closer to fire — and then the wind sends most of it into the yards back in town. Skinner Lawncare deals with what lands: fall cleanups, the last mowings of the year taken low and clean, trimming and edging so the lines are still there underneath everything. Through the summer it is the ordinary weekly business, mowing and detail work along a route. Both jobs come down to the same result — a lawn that looks looked-after, whatever month you happen to be standing in it.
