About Hometown Lawn & Tree Service

The white walls of the old temple stand on the hill above Historic Kirtland, and the village spread below it still keeps that unhurried, tree-shaded feeling. Hometown Lawn & Tree Service works those yards: mowing on the week, trimming close around trunks and posts, edging the walks, and clearing the beds when spring arrives and again when the leaves come down thick under Kirtland's old maples. Shade is the local complication — half a lawn here can spend the whole afternoon in it — so the cut gets adjusted rather than forced. It is neighborhood work at neighborhood pace, and it shows in the small things: no scalped corner, no clippings left across the sidewalk. A town that looks after itself is mostly a lot of people looking after their own hundred feet of it.
