About Stewart Excavating

Kingsville lies a few miles in from Lake Erie, close enough that the vineyard rows and the snow both come off the same water. Stewart Excavating handles the winter side of that arrangement — plowing driveways and lots, opening farm lanes, cutting walkways through the drifts. Ashtabula County collects lake-effect by the foot, and one storm here can leave more overnight than a whole month does inland. There is a particular satisfaction in a pass along the back roads before daylight, blade down, the lane behind you clean and the field beside you untouched. By the time the county wakes up, the way out is already open.
