About Rocky Ridge Tree service & Excavating

Up on the ridges above town the wind gets a longer run at things, and it finds the weak wood first. Rocky Ridge Tree service & Excavating spends its days on that high ground around Killbuck — thinning crowded oaks, pruning back what leans over a barn roof, taking down a dead elm in the one direction it can go. When a summer squall lays a treetop across a lane, the crew clears it, hauls it, and leaves the gravel swept behind them. Come November the bare branchwork shows every crossing limb, and that is fine cutting weather. What stays behind is a woodlot with room in it and a yard you can walk through.
