About Thompson Lawn Care Services, LLC

There is a particular morning in Kettering, late April, when the rain has moved off toward the east and the ground along Holes Creek is still steaming. Everything is growing at once. Thompson Lawn Care Services, LLC works those weeks hard — mowing yards in the neighborhoods off Wilmington Pike while the grass is thick enough to push back, trimming the fence lines and tree rings, cutting a clean edge where the sod has crept over the sidewalk all winter. The smell of a first real cut carries three houses down, and the sound of a blower clearing a driveway is, in this town, the sound of the season starting. Come the leaf weeks, the same yards get swept back to green so nothing mats down over the roots. It is plain work done carefully, on ground the crew knows street by street.
