About Matthews Clean Cut Lawn Care LLC

Johnson is crossroads country — a few turns, a creek down in the bottom, fields that run past where the eye gives out. Matthews Clean Cut Lawn Care LLC keeps the grass in order here with mowing, trimming, edging and yard cleanups for homes and small properties around town. In June the growth comes fast on the heels of a warm rain, and there is a pleasure in arriving at a shaggy lawn and leaving straight bands of cut green behind. Edges get the same attention as the middle: sharp along the walk, tight around the trees, the clippings put back into the yard where they belong. It is simple work done carefully, and a mown lawn on a summer evening is worth the trouble it takes.
