Yardmaster - Columbus (East)

About Yardmaster - Columbus (East)

East of Columbus the National Road carries on toward Reynoldsburg, and on a snowy evening the lot lights turn the falling flakes orange. Yardmaster - Columbus (East) works those hours, plowing parking areas and drives across Jefferson Township once the traffic has thinned out. Snow on this side of the county tends to come in on a long gray afternoon and keep at it past dark, so the passes stack up through the night. Walks and entries are shoveled clean, and the banks get pushed well off the spaces people need in the morning. By daylight the pavement is black again and the day starts on time.
