Yard Munchers

About Yard Munchers

First frost in Howard township silvers the fields and ends the mowing all at once, and everybody stands in the yard wondering where the season went. Yard Munchers works both ends of that calendar: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, cleanups when the leaves stack up, plowing and shoveling once winter takes the roads. The name is playful; the cut is precise. There is honest pleasure in a yard eaten down to a level green, and in a drive pushed wide and square enough that the mail truck can pull right in. The township, Howard, Danville and the Mount Vernon side make up the run.
