The Yard Guys

About The Yard Guys

Saturday afternoons on Harrison Avenue keep their own tempo, storefront shade down one side of the street and a mower running somewhere behind every block. The Yard Guys keep that sound going all season with mowing, trimming and cleanups on the lots that fill in between the old brick downtown and the farm ground past it. Come winter those same yards go silent and the work turns to plowing drives and clearing the walks people use to reach their own front doors. Small-town properties reward detail: a trimmed line along a fence, a driveway pushed back square to its edges, leaves gone before rain packs them flat. It is honest outdoor work for a town that is easy to be from.
