By late October the sycamores along Dry Fork are letting go, and every lawn in Harrison lies under an inch of somebody else's tree. GF Services mows out the tail of the season and then clears all of it — leaves out of the corners, the beds, the fence line, the low spot down by the road. A yard cleaned back to green in November is a fine thing to hand a family. Through the summer it is the steady part: cutting on time, trimming close, keeping a defined line where the turf meets the walk. This valley grows grass generously, and the work is simply keeping pace.
