About SJ Lawn Service LLC

On a July Saturday in Hamilton's east end, the sound of the morning is mowers — one starting up near Combs Park, another answering two streets over. SJ Lawn Service LLC is part of that chorus, cutting, trimming and edging yards from the riverbank blocks out toward Ohio 4 before the heat sets in hard. The Great Miami keeps the air heavy here, and grass in a valley summer grows like it has somewhere to be. There's a plain pleasure in the finished stretch: clippings blown off the walk, a line along the drive you could measure, everything squared. By noon the mower is cooling in the trailer and the block looks like somebody paid attention.
