About All About You Lawn

Dayton Lane wakes under brick and porch light, and in January that is where the morning opens — blade down, drive pushed clear, walks cut to the curb before the first car door swings. Come June the same block asks for something else entirely: straight mower lines across the front yards and a trimmed edge along the sidewalk that holds its shape all week. All About You Lawn works both halves of Hamilton's year, plowing and shoveling when the Ohio Valley cold clamps down, mowing, trimming and tidying when it lets go. The pleasure is in the finish — a dark, open driveway before dawn, a lawn that looks composed at dusk. Hamilton and the streets running out from it get the same eye in either direction.
