Lawn and Order

About Lawn and Order

On a Saturday morning the side streets off Central Avenue fill with the sound of small engines, and Greenville does what it has always done — takes care of its own front yards. Lawn and Order joins in with mowing on a set week, string trimming around posts and trees, and edges run along walks and drives so the line stays where it belongs. Clippings come off the concrete instead of graying there in the sun. Spring and fall bring the heavier rounds, the leaf work and bed tidying that let a lawn open and close its year square. There is real pleasure in a yard that looks finished — the kind you notice from the street without knowing quite why.
