Brown's Lawn Care

About Brown's Lawn Care

Out along US 36 west of the city, Shawnee Prairie holds a piece of Darke County the way it once was — big bluestem overhead by September, rustling like paper when the wind comes off the fields. Brown's Lawn Care tends the kept side of that same landscape across Greenville township: weekly mowing, trimming around posts, trees and outbuildings, edges cut in along drives and walks. Country lots run big, so the pass pattern matters, and so does getting the clippings off the concrete before anyone tracks them inside. Spring and fall cleanups handle the leaves and the winter leftovers. Prairie grass has one kind of beauty; a cut lawn beside it has another, and both belong out here.
