About JMB Lawncare

Greenhills has sidewalks that actually go somewhere, and in October the maples over them turn the walking loops into something worth the detour. That's also when the leaves start burying the lawns underneath, a few every night, until a yard disappears without anyone noticing the day it happened. JMB Lawncare keeps up with it around the village — mowing while the grass still grows, trimming the edges, clearing the leaves off the turf and off the walks so the paths stay passable. There's a plain satisfaction in handing a sidewalk back to the people who use it, swept clean end to end. By the time the trees are bare the yards are still there, still even, waiting on spring.
