About Stewy's Lawncare LLC

There's a morning in November when the township grass is stiff with frost and the mower has to wait an hour for the sun to loosen it, and that hour is worth waiting for. Stewy's Lawncare LLC works the last rounds of the year across Greenfield Township — mowing it down for winter, trimming out the corners, edging the walks, clearing the leaves off before they mat down and smother the turf. Farm smoke hangs low over the fields on those still days and sound carries a long way down the county roads. Finishing a yard clean at the end of the season is its own kind of closure: nothing left ragged, nothing left to worry about until the thaw. Then the truck heads home with the light already going.
