Arbor Care Tree & Stump Grinding

About Arbor Care Tree & Stump Grinding

Grafton was built on sandstone — the quarries gave up block for half of Lorain County — so there is something fitting about a trade that finishes below the grass. Along the east branch of the Black River the bottomland grows cottonwood and box elder that come down in a hurry, while up in the village the yards keep maples whose roots have gone exploring under the sidewalk. Arbor Care Tree & Stump Grinding takes the tree out, trims what is staying, then puts the grinder to the stump and carries it under the surface where nothing can catch a toe. Chips go back into the void, the ground comes level, and the lawn takes it from there. Quiet work, and a clean finish.
