About Starwood Tree Service LLC

Winter dusk comes on early in the Mahoning valley, and Girard's hillside streets go blue before five o'clock. The valley holds its weather the way a bowl holds water — snow lying long in the low streets, wind combing the ridges above the river. Trees here grow up hard against fences, garages and alleys, which turns every removal into a puzzle about where the pieces are allowed to go. Starwood Tree Service LLC answers it with rope and rigging: down in sections, clear of the wires, off the neighbor's grass. Trimming and pruning lighten the crowns before winter puts weight on them, and after a storm the crew hauls away whatever came down — a driveway open again while the light is still good.
