Green Fuse

About Green Fuse

Gibsonburg sits on flat Sandusky County ground where an old limestone quarry has gone over to water and woods, and the sky takes up most of the view. Green Fuse works those wide open yards, mowing every week, trimming around trees, posts and beds, edging along walks and drives, and carrying off the clippings and leaves each season leaves behind. Black Swamp soil is rich and slow to dry, so spring mowing starts on the high ground and works its way down as the low corners firm up. By midsummer the lawns run deep green out to the fence line, and a straight-cut yard against all that open country is a fine thing to look at. When October takes the oaks, the same route becomes leaf cleanup.
