Zant’s Hauling & Removal

About Zant’s Hauling & Removal

February in Genoa Township has a color all its own at five in the morning — blue-black sky, salt haze, snow that froze hard overnight and has to be broken loose before it can be moved. Zant's Hauling & Removal shows up for that part of winter with a truck and a plan: drives and lots pushed open, the heavy banks cut back off the corners, and the piles hauled clean away when there is simply nowhere left to put them. Walks get cleared and treated so the ice does not win the day. Storms here often come as a fast clipper and then a long freeze, so the work is as much about what happens after as during. Coming back to a place you cleared and finding it still open is the good part.
