Jake's Lawn Care

About Jake's Lawn Care

There is a half hour at the end of a Galion summer day when the light turns amber, fireflies lift off the grass, and one more lawn is still waiting. Jake's Lawn Care takes that pass — mowing, trimming the fence corners, edging the walk — and finishes while the yard is still warm from the day. The work is weekly and unglamorous, which is exactly why doing it carefully shows. Drive swept, gate latched, nothing left behind but stripes. A neighborhood full of that looks like a good place to live, because it is.
