Ike’s Lawn and Services

About Ike’s Lawn and Services

Redbud lights up the wood edges here weeks before the hardwoods think about leafing out, and that pink haze along the road banks is the signal the season has started. Ike's Lawn and Services takes the first cuts then, working through Fayette Township while the ground is still cool and the grass is still tender. From there it is mowing on a rhythm, trimming what the deck cannot reach, edging the walks back to a line, and cleanups at both ends of the year. Spring in this valley is generous and a little unruly, and keeping up with it is most of the job. A yard cut early and cut right sets the tone for everything that follows, and that is worth doing carefully.
