About Alan lawn Care

In Fayette Township the day opens as a white ribbon of fog laid down the Ohio, and it burns off slow across the bottomland. Alan lawn Care works into that clearing light, cutting lines that follow the lay of a yard the way a fence follows a hill. Mowing, trimming, edging and the season's cleanups are the whole of the work, carried out until the turf has a grain to it you can read from the road. A lawn down here either sits flat on river ground or climbs toward the hardwood ridge, and each one asks for something a little different underfoot. The best minute of the job is the last pass, when the edge along the walk comes up crisp and the clippings are blown clean off the concrete.
